Along with being an accessible gateway to theatre, Hattiloo Theatre supports Memphis' creative community with such initiatives as:
- Hattiloo in the Park - Each summer, we take a free performance to various neighborhood parks for the residents to come out and enjoy live theatre, dance, and singing
- Actors Creating Theatre - These classes provide opportunities for growth and expansion throughout
every age group (beginning at age 4) and talent level
- Hattiloo Artistis Bazaar - Hosted on the 1st Saturday of each month, come out and support local artists that include chefs, jewelry makers, musicans, bookmakers, and more...
- Hattiloo Block Party - This annual event showcases some of Memphis' most talented songwriters/singers/musicians, in a free concert, located in Hattiloo Theatre's back parking lot
- Hattiloo's Black Theatre Museum - A mobile, interactive exhibit designed to familiarize you with the social environment that surrounded notable Black actors and playwrights, and how they used their art form(s) to celebrate their cultural distinctions and draw attention to particular conditions of their day
We ask that you come out to Hattiloo Theatre and support the many and varied artists that this, our vibrant city of Memphis, produces.
