Zora’s is named after Harlem Renaissance writer, Zora Neal Hurston. With a menu of desserts, soups, and sandwiches, Zora’s is an intimate venue for primarily local, but also touring artist of various disciplines. Zora’s calendar of events includes listening parties, during which attendees socialize beneath the sounds of a selected musician like composer/bassist Charles Mingus, neo-soul singer Rashaan Patterson, or opera singer Leontine Price. There are poetry readings, comedy showcases, book-club meetings, musical concerts, and talent-searches.

Available to rent at a low cost, Zora’s gives striving artists a stage and an audience to ply their talents.
